Duties and Responsibilities: The safe, efficient and on-time transportation of our valued customer’s freight on scheduled runs between company branches within BC. Applicants must possess a class 1 driver’s license, a safe driving record,. Applicants must have competent written and spoken communication skills in the English language sufficient to perform the various tasks and requirements of the job, including but not limited to: strong customer service skills; the ability to complete all associated paperwork. Previous experience with reefer operations is a definite asset.
We Offer:
- 2,500 to 3,000 miles available weekly
- $0.4687 per mile driving time
- $18.10 - $20.10 per hour paid work time.

- Paid waiting and delay time.
- ¼ hour paid pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Paid every two weeks.

Duties and Responsibilities: Work effectively and efficiently
in a fast paced environment. Receive and/or sort freight in a warehouse environment
and use judgment and discretion to load and secure freight to ensure damage-free
transit to destination cities. Maintains a safe and clean work environment
and performs tasks in a safe, injury free manner with due care and attention at
all times. Communicates effectively in a team environment and complies with
all company procedures, rules and regulations. Applicants must possess steel
toe boots, sound judgment, common sense and a strong work ethic. Applicants
must have competent written and spoken communication skills in the English language
sufficient to perform the various tasks and requirements of the job, including but
not limited to: strong customer service skills; the ability to complete all associated
paperwork. Applicants must also possess a grade 10 equivalency; including
basic math skills and the ability to calculate shipment cubes. Previous warehousing
or forklift experience would be a definite asset, as well as a strong geographical
knowledge of BC.
