Every shipment, be it one single pallet or a truckload, is treated with the same care and attention by our dedicated freight handling professionals resulting in some of the lowest claims incidents within the industry.
Carriers utilize a variety of procedures and initiatives to prevent and minimize damages, shortages and temperature exceptions during the course of freight handling and transportation. The industry standard for measuring claims performance is the Claims Ratio (below). Most companies within the transportation industry strive to achieve a goal of no more than 0.50%. However, the majority of carriers within the industry tend to average about 1.00%.
