Clark Freightways Canada Day Shipping Schedule 2017

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE – CANADA DAY 2017

ATTENTION – SHIPPING DEPARTMENT

The following changes will go into effect due to the July 1st holiday:

NOTE TO COOLER / FROZEN SHIPPERS:

Clark will not be held liable for perishable product quality held for more than 24 hours during the holiday scheduling.

 

LOWER MAINLAND SHIPPERS

Thursday, June 29

  • Smithers and Terrace – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, July 1st.
  • Other West of Prince George points – shipments will be delivered Tuesday, July 4th.

Friday, June 30 

Points that receive daily overnight service will be delivered Saturday, July 1st.

  • Haida Gwaii (Q.C. Islands) – shipments including perishables will be delivered Tuesday, July 4
  • Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John and Mackenzie – shipments will be delivered on Wednesday, July 5th.
  • All West of Prince George points – shipments will be delivered Tuesday, July 4th.
  • Blind Bay, Celista, Chase, Merritt area, Scotch Creek, Sorrento and Tappen – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, July 1st.  No deliveries will be done in this area on Tuesday, July 4th or Wednesday, July 5th.

Saturday, July 1

Clark’s Coquitlam terminal will be closed.  All other Clark terminals will be delivering freight only and no pickups will be done.

Monday, July 3   

  • All terminals closed

Tuesday, July 4        

  • Normal schedule resumes.
  • Powell River – shipments will be delivered Thursday, July 6th.
  • Sicamous and Revelstoke – shipments will be delivered Wednesday, July 5th. No deliveries will be made in this area on Thursday, July 6th or Friday, July 7th.

Wednesday, July 5

  • Powell River – this shipping day is cancelled.  Please ship on Tuesday, July 4th or Thursday, July 6th.

Thursday, July 6

  • Powell River – shipments will be delivered Saturday, July 8th.

 

OKANAGAN SHIPPERS

 

Friday, June 30

  • Points that receive daily overnight service will be delivered Saturday, July 1st.
  • West of Prince George & Haida Gwaii (Q.C. Islands) – shipments including perishables will be delivered Tuesday, July 4
  • Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John and Mackenzie – shipments will be delivered Wednesday, July 5th.
  • Blind Bay, Celista, Chase, Merritt area, Scotch Creek, Sorrento and Tappen – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, July 1st. No deliveries will be done in this area on Tuesday, July 4th or Wednesday, July 5th.

  • Clark’s Okanagan terminals will be delivering freight, but will be closed for pickups.

Monday, July 3

  • All terminals closed.

Tuesday, July 4

  • Normal schedule resumes.

PRINCE GEORGE SHIPPERS

We appreciate the efforts of our customers in making the holiday logistics as seamless as possible. We also understand that unforeseen circumstances can make it difficult to maintain regular shipping protocols. Please understand that your help in maintaining regular pickup times and/or scheduling heavier-than-usual volumes for early pickup, etc. will greatly improve our ability to maintain service levels.  Where our facilities may be indicated as “CLOSED” on our holiday schedule, special services may be available by prior arrangement.  We appreciate your understanding and co-operation in working with us to minimize the impact of holiday uncertainties.
