As proud as we are of working hard, no job is worth compromising our safety standards.
In addition to protecting our people, a safe workplace means increased productivity and
Controlled costs – all of which benefit you.
Our culture of safety begins with everyone sharing responsibility for maintaining a safe work environment. It extends to all of our senior managers and supervisors being held accountable for health and safety compliance. Needless to say, everyone undergoes exhaustive safety orientation and training.
Our health and safety programs are so comprehensive that in October of 2010 we became the first BC carrier to be COR certified by the Trucking Safety Council of BC. The Certificate of Recognition is awarded to employers who exceed the legal requirements of the Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation by taking the “best practice” approach to implementing health and safety programs and return-to-work programs.
