HOLIDAY SCHEDULE – CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS DAY 2017/2018

To Our Valued Customers: We appreciate the efforts of our customers in making the holiday logistics as seamless as possible. We also understand that unforeseen circumstances can make it difficult to maintain regular shipping protocols. Please understand that your help in maintaining regular pickup times and/or scheduling heavier-than-usual volumes for early pickup, etc. will greatly improve our ability to maintain service levels. Where our facilities may be indicated as “CLOSED” on our holiday schedule, special services may be available by prior arrangement. We appreciate your understanding and co-operation in working with us to minimize the impact of holiday uncertainties.
NOTE TO COOLER / FROZEN SHIPPERS:
Clark will not be held liable for perishable product quality held for more than 24 hours during the holiday scheduling.
The following changes will go into effect due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays:
FOR LOWER MAINLAND SHIPPERS
Tuesday, December 19:
- Haida Gwaii (Q.C. Islands) – shipments will be delivered on Friday, Dec. 22nd.
Wednesday, December 20: Regular scheduled service to all points
- North and East of Cranbrook, and Creston beyond points (2 day service points) – shipments will be delivered on Friday, December 22nd. This is the last shipping day to these points for delivery before Christmas.
Thursday, December 21
- Smithers and Terrace – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, Dec. 23rd.
- All other West of Prince George points – shipments will be delivered Wednesday, December 27th.
Friday, December 22
- Haida Gwaii (Q.C. Islands) – shipments will be delivered on Wednesday, December 27th.
- Points that receive daily overnight service – will be delivered Saturday, December 23rd.
- North and West of Prince George – shipments will be delivered on Wednesday, December 27th.
- Blind Bay, Celista, Chase, Merritt, Scotch Creek, Sorrento and Tappen – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, December 23rd. No deliveries will be done in this area on Tuesday, December 26th or Wednesday, December 27th.
Saturday, December 23
- Clark’s Coquitlam terminal will be closed. All other Clark terminals will be delivering freight only and no pickups will be done.
Monday, December 25
- All terminals closed.
Tuesday, December 26
- All terminals closed.
- Haida Gwaii (Q.C. Islands) – this shipping day is cancelled. Please ship to this point on Friday, December 22nd or Friday, December 29th.
Wednesday, December 27
- Normal schedule resumes. Regular scheduled service to all points.
- Sicamous and Revelstoke – shipments will be delivered Thursday, December 28th. No deliveries will be made in this area on Friday, December 29th.

- Sicamous and Revelstoke – shipments will be delivered Wednesday, January 3rd. No deliveries will be made in this area on Thursday, January 4th or Friday, January 5th.

- Powell River – shipments will be delivered Saturday, January 6th.
