February 9 – Outbound Shipments delayed across province due to severe winter conditions

Dear Valued Customer;

Please be advised all shipments picked up on Thursday February 9th to/from the Greater Vancouver have been affected due to adverse driving conditions with major highway closures including Hwy 1, 3, and 5. As of 10:00AM Feb 10 only highway 3 is open with major delays.

As a result, our drivers had to park all units en-route last evening.  As soon as conditions allow we will be moving February 9th freight to their destination, with the majority of overnight points expected to deliver Saturday February 11th should highways reopen in a timely manner.

Shipments from Greater Vancouver to Vancouver Island, Sunshine Coast, and Whistler have not been affected, except Courtenay and points north which can expect delays.

All pick-ups today (February 10) in the Greater Vancouver area for overnight service should deliver on Tuesday February 14.  If you choose to ship temperature control freight today, Clark Freightways will not accept any liability to possible claims. For two day points please contact Customer Service.

Should you have any questions, please contact Customer Service or your Account manager at 604-472-2130 or 1-877-972-5275

We will update as soon as we have more information.

Your truly,

Staff and Management,
