HOLIDAY SCHEDULE – THANKSGIVING DAY 2019

ATTENTION – SHIPPING DEPARTMENT

The following changes will go into effect due to the October 14th holiday:

NOTE TO COOLER / FROZEN SHIPPERS:

Clark will not be held liable for perishable product quality held for more than 24 hours during the holiday scheduling.

 LOWER MAINLAND SHIPPERS

Thursday, October 10

  • Smithers and Terrace – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, October 12th
  • Other West of Prince George points – shipments will be delivered Tuesday, October 15th.

Friday, October 11

  • Points that receive daily overnight service will be delivered Saturday, October 12th
  • Haida Gwaii (Q.C. Islands) – shipments including perishables will be delivered Tues., October 15th.
  • Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John and Mackenzie – shipments will be delivered on Wednesday, October 16th.-
  • All West of Prince George points – shipments will be delivered Tuesday, October 15th.
  • Blind Bay, Celista, Chase, Merritt area, Scotch Creek, Sorrento and Tappen – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, October 12th. No deliveries will be done in this area on Tuesday, October 15th or Wednesday, October 16th.

Saturday, October 12                      –

  • Clark’s Coquitlam terminal will be closed. All other Clark terminals will be delivering freight only and no pickups will be done.

Monday, October 14                       –

  • All terminals closed.

Tuesday, October 15                      –

  • Normal schedule resumes.
  • Powell River – this shipping day in cancelled. Please ship on Wednesday, October 16th.
  • Sicamous and Revelstoke – shipments will be delivered Wednesday, October 16th. No deliveries will be made in this area on Thursday, October 17th or Friday, October 18th.

Wednesday, October 16                –

  • Powell Rivershipments will be delivered Friday, October 18th.

 OKANAGAN SHIPPERS

Friday, October 11                           –

  • Points that receive daily overnight service will be delivered Saturday, October 12th.
  • West of Prince George & Haida Gwaii (Q.C. Islands) – shipments including perishables will be delivered Tuesday, October 15th.
  • Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John and Mackenzie – shipments will be delivered Wednesday, October 16th.
  • Blind Bay, Celista, Chase, Merritt area, Scotch Creek, Sorrento and Tappen – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, October 12 No deliveries will be done in this area on Tuesday, October 15th or Wednesday, October 16th.

We appreciate the efforts of our customers in making the holiday logistics as seamless as possible. We also understand that unforeseen circumstances can make it difficult to maintain regular shipping protocols. Please understand that your help in maintaining regular pickup times and/or scheduling heavier-than-usual volumes for early pickup, etc. will greatly improve our ability to maintain service levels.  Where our facilities may be indicated as “CLOSED” on our holiday schedule, special services may be available by prior arrangement.  We appreciate your understanding and co-operation in working with us to minimize the impact of holiday uncertainties.
