HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
B.C. DAY 2017
ATTENTION – SHIPPING DEPARTMENT
The following changes will go into effect due to the August 7th holiday:
NOTE TO COOLER / FROZEN SHIPPERS:
Clark will not be held liable for perishable product quality held for more than 24 hours during the holiday scheduling.
FOR ALL LOWER MAINLAND SHIPPERS
Thursday, August 3
- Smithers and Terrace – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, August 5th.
- Other West of Prince George points – shipments will be delivered Tuesday, August 8th.
Friday, August 4
Points that receive daily overnight service will be delivered Saturday, August 5th.
- Haida Gwaii (Q.C. Islands) – shipments including perishables will be delivered Tuesday, August 8th.
- Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John and Mackenzie – shipments will be delivered on Wednesday, August 9th.
- All West of Prince George points – shipments will be delivered Tuesday, August 8th
- Blind Bay, Celista, Chase, Merritt area, Scotch Creek, Sorrento and Tappen – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, August 5th. No deliveries will be done in this area on Tuesday, August 8th or Wednesday, August 9th.
Saturday, August 5
- Clark’s Coquitlam terminal will be closed. All other Clark terminals will be delivering freight only and no pickups will be done.
Monday, August 7
- All terminals closed.
Tuesday, August 8
- Normal schedule resumes.
- Powell River – shipments will be delivered Thursday, August 10th.
- Sicamous and Revelstoke – shipments will be delivered Wednesday, August 9th. No deliveries will be made in this area on Thursday, August 10th or Friday, August 11th.
Wednesday, August 9
- Powell River – this shipping day is cancelled. Please ship on Tuesday, August 8th or Thursday, August 10th.
Thursday, August 10
- Powell River – shipments will be delivered Saturday, August 12th.
FOR ALL OKANAGAN SHIPPERS
Friday, August 4
- Points that receive daily overnight service will be delivered Saturday, August 5th.
- West of Prince George & Haida Gwaii (Q.C. Islands) – shipments including perishables will be delivered Tuesday, August 8th.
- Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John and Mackenzie – shipments will be delivered Wednesday, August 9th.
- Blind Bay, Celista, Chase, Merritt area, Scotch Creek, Sorrento and Tappen – shipments will be delivered on Saturday, August 5th. No deliveries will be done in this area on Tuesday, August 8th or Wednesday, August 9th.

We also understand that unforeseen circumstances can make it difficult to maintain regular shipping protocols. Please understand that your help in maintaining regular pickup times and/or scheduling heavier-than-usual volumes for early pickup, etc. will greatly improve our ability to maintain service levels. Where our facilities may be indicated as “CLOSED” on our holiday schedule, special services may be available by prior arrangement. We appreciate your understanding and co-operation in working with us to minimize the impact of holiday uncertainties.
