Please be advised as of 4:30 PM Monday July 10 Clark Freightways is still unable to delivery to Cache Creek, Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and Ashcroft BC as all access is blocked due to the continued road closures of Highway 1 and Highway 97. DriveBC http://www.drivebc.com/ is advising the next update for Tuesday noon which is not a great sign, and we suggest not to ship to these locations or they will be held at the closest terminal.
In addition, all shipments to Prince George, locations west and north of Prince George (Terrace, Smithers, Prince Rupert, Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson and surrounding communities) will be temporarily routed via Highway 5 and 16 to keep moving to schedule. We will be instituting a 10% surcharge effective immediately for these shipments to offset a portion of the additional costs until highway 97 is accessible again.
Also note, shipments to Quesnel will now be routed via Prince George and this is temporarily a two day service point.
